Threads Woven
Designed by Jimmy Paints
With assistance from San Jose State University Students and painted with the help of over 500 volunteers.
In partnership with the San Jose Downtown Association and the Adobe Foundation
"Threads Woven" transforms San Pedro Street into a vibrant tapestry inspired by traditional Mexican sarape blankets. Created with over 500 community volunteers, the mural symbolizes unity and cultural diversity in San Jose.
Organized by the San Jose Downtown Association, Local Color, and supported by The Adobe Foundation, the piece highlights the power of collective creativity. Jimmy Paints (@jimmypaints) designed the mural to reflect the interconnectedness of people, much like threads woven into fabric, celebrating the strength and beauty of community
